MUTHA SAUCE
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup minced onion
1/2 cup minced green
pepper
1 jalapeno pepper,
seeded and minced
2 tablespoons minced
garlic
1 can (28 oz.) tomato
sauce
2 cups ketchup
1 cup water
3/4 cup Worcestershire
sauce
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup cayenne pepper
sauce
1/4 cup spicy brown
mustard
3/4 cup dark brown
sugar, packed
1 tablespoon coarsely
ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground
allspice
Pour oil in sauce pan and set over
medium-high heat. Stir in onions,
green peppers and jalapenos. Cook
until soft and golden. Add garlic
and cook for one minute more.
Add remaining ingredients and bring
to boil. Reduce heat and simmer
for ten minutes. Remove from heat,
allow to cool, and store under
refrigeration. Excellent as an all
purpose grill sauce.
