Noodles Romanoff

    8 ounces cooked and drained wide egg noodles
    2 cups sour cream
    1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
    1 tablespoon chives
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  Combine sour cream, 1/4 cup cheese, chives, salt, pepper and
 garlic. Stir butter into hot noodles. Stir in the sour cream
 mixture. Arrange on platter, sprinkle with remaining cheese.
